18,000 encryption whales born in South Korea, with an average Holdings exceeding 2.2 billion KRW.

According to reports, the number of wealthy individuals in South Korea holding over 1 billion Korean Won in Crypto Assets has reached approximately 18,000, with an average Holdings of 2.228 billion Korean Won, which is more than 200 times the average open interest (10.27 million Korean Won) of over 18.66 million users on the five largest trading platforms in South Korea.

From the perspective of various age groups, the number of people holding over 1 billion KRW in crypto assets is highest among those in their 50s (3,994 people), followed by those in their 40s (3,086 people), those over 60 (2,426 people), and those in their 30s (1,167 people), while there are 137 young whales in their 20s. About 76% of the whales (8,242 people) are users of a certain trading platform, significantly exceeding the platform's 52% share among the top five trading platforms.
