In the ocean of digital money, Bitcoin remains the most solid lighthouse. As a long-term investor, I choose to focus my attention on Bitcoin and only hold Bitcoin. This does not mean that I deny the value of other digital money; rather, it is based on a deep trust in Bitcoin's long-term survival capability.
Many investors may ask: "Why put all your eggs in one basket?" In fact, this is not a lack of diversification, but rather an acknowledgment of the inherent advantages of Bitcoin. Bitcoin has the highest degree of decentralization, the most robust network, the strongest system security, and the simplest functional design. These characteristics make Bitcoin's probability of survival in the next 10-20 years far greater than that of other digital currencies.
Interestingly, some investors liken other Digital Money to Bitcoin's "insurance". However, this view contains a logical fallacy. If Bitcoin fails, other Digital Money is likely to perish even faster. In fact, the survival of other Digital Money largely depends on the success of Bitcoin.
For Bitcoin forks, I chose to sell them all. Some advocate a so-called 1:1 holding strategy, but this may reflect a lack of confidence or a blurred sense of values. Fork coins fundamentally conflict with Bitcoin in ideology; a true believer in Bitcoin who acts consistently would find it difficult to hold both.
However, I do not oppose others holding any type of Digital Money. Every investor has their own judgment and choices. It is important to understand that in the world of Digital Money, Bitcoin is like the North Star, guiding the direction of the entire industry.
As long-term investors, the core issue we need to focus on is whether the assets we invest in will still exist and have value in 10-20 years. From this perspective, Bitcoin is undoubtedly the most promising choice. It is not just a digital asset, but also represents a revolutionary financial concept and technological innovation.
Overall, it is crucial to remain clear-headed and focused in digital money investment. While the market is filled with various enticing opportunities, true wisdom lies in identifying and sticking to the assets with the most long-term value. For me, that is Bitcoin.
