China Mobile Migu launches public chain NFT Meelier, limited to 2000 pieces, for global sale.
China Mobile Migu's first NFT project Meelier debuts
On October 1st, Migu Video announced on social media that China Mobile Migu's first NFT is about to be launched. The first NFT of Migu's Web 3 product Meelier has opened whitelist pre-sales and will officially launch globally on October 12th.
This NFT is based on characters from the popular mobile game "Panda Coffee House" and uses a development approach of "new scenes + new technology + new narratives". Meelier will be sold in blind boxes on a certain NFT trading platform, with a global limit of 2000 pieces, and will include multiple gameplay options and user rights.
The MiGu brand originated in 2008 with China Mobile's "Wireless Music MiGu Club" and later evolved into China Mobile's digital entertainment brand. In 2014, MiGu Culture Technology Co., Ltd. was officially established as the sole operating entity for China Mobile's digital business in music, video, reading, gaming, and animation. MiGu consists of five subsidiaries, providing diversified services such as video, music, and digital reading.
The Meelier Milo series is the first NFT series launched by Migu. According to the official introduction, the Meelier Milo NFT will integrate various rights through blockchain technology. This series aims to revolutionize traditional digital entertainment, creating new digital experiences and value exchange channels. As the first NFT series in the Migu metaverse ecosystem, it marks Migu's commitment to exploring the unknown frontier in the digital realm, providing unique value for users.
The issuance of the first NFT by Migu has attracted widespread attention in the industry. As an entertainment ecosystem IP, Migu's move aligns with the trend of social technological development. In November 2021, at the China Mobile Global Partners Conference, Liu Xin, the general manager of Migu, shared the development blueprint of MIGU's metaverse. Based on a computing power network, Migu has conducted extensive explorations in the field of the metaverse, gradually constructing the evolution roadmap of MIGU's metaverse.
Migu has created an immersive social interaction system for the metaverse based on a new Gamified interaction engine. By developing ultra-high-definition video, VR, AR, video ringtones, smart cabins, and other software and hardware environments, Migu has innovated social methods, achieving multi-dimensional connections between people, people and objects, and objects and objects, meeting higher-level social needs.

Liu Xin stated that in the future, Migu will continue to develop immersive content experiences for AR glasses, promote the AR transformation of social interactions, and achieve widespread application of AR glasses in daily life, making them an important entry point for exploring the metaverse.
The move by MiGu to launch NFTs has attracted widespread attention in the industry. Unlike other domestic digital collectible companies, MiGu chose to release its works on an international NFT platform based on a public chain, rather than using a consortium chain. This choice reflects MiGu's clear understanding of NFTs and digital collectibles, and it makes people look forward to MiGu's future directions.
